From the onset, we have made every effort to ensure ongoing regulatory compliance across the 200+ jurisdictions where we operate. As a great many countries are yet to impose such requirements for blockchain-related businesses, full compliance might be achieved by means other than licensing. Even so, Nexo remains proactive when it comes to regulations.
Our in-house Legal team and the top-tier law firms we retain – fully acquainted with the dynamic regulatory frameworks around the world – have been on a constant license acquisition mission for over three years and the results on this page are solid proof of their work. As such, we are proud to fulfill our fiduciary duty to our clients, offering them full visibility of our licenses, registrations, and authorizations, while simultaneously driving our industry towards maturity, and setting the benchmark high for the other players.

Our Licenses & Registrations page currently hosts a number of Nexo’s certifications. In the coming months, we expect to add even more documents among which numerous currently pending licenses and authorizations.
The #NexoTransparency Initiative
Over the last few quarters, we materially improved visibility around our custody and insurance procedures and partnerships launched monthly AMA sessions with our Co-founder and Managing Partner Antoni Trenchev, and, as of today, we have enhanced the visibility of our licenses. All this a coordinated effort to boost our business’ transparency and we’re happy to announce that a further #NexoTransparency upgrade is already just around the corner so be sure to keep track of our upcoming communications.
